As a CU we run several events throughout each month that are designed to encourage conversation and friendship, these are open to everyone and we’d love to see you there! There are so many different events run throughout the year such as: Lunch events, Prayer & Worship nights, Sports days, Go weeks, and so much more! Freshers Week
A huge week in the CU calendar where every day is packaged with morning prayers, fun activities and a chance to get to know Manchester and the people living in it even better!

Weekend Away
The Weekend Away is our first event with other Christian Unions in Manchester, it is always one of the major highlights of the year. A weekend full of games, talks, food & fun, facilitates the perfect space to build friendships and grow closer in fellowship with Jesus.

Carol Service
Our Carol Service is another joint CU event to bring your friends along to an evening of carols, a live orchestra and choir, a range of other performances and a short talk that gets to the heart of the Christmas message. We’d love for you to join with us in sharing the light of Christmas this season!

Events Week
The MAIN EVENT of the Christian Union Calendar. Every day we will hear thought-provoking talks working through the gospels, hear personal stories about people’s encounters with Jesus and will have deep discussions about the Christian worldview. As a missions team, the Christian Union uses Events Week as an opportunity to invite all those on campus to come and hear the good news of Jesus Christ and the hope that He offers. Whether you would describe yourself as a Christian or not, we would absolutely love to have you come along to these events and learn with us – everyone is welcome! If you would like to get involved with one of the teams during this week then please do – we want to grow in our service of Christ together and Events Week is a brilliant opportunity to do that.

CU Ball
Held at the end of the university year our joint Christian Union Ball is a chance to celebrate all the good God has done in the year, with music, dancing and all-around fun!

Many people from Manchester’s Christian Union will be joining hundreds of people from CUs all around the country to learn, worship and have lots of fun all in the mighty name of Jesus. It is open to everyone, CU leader, student or not!
